Mo.Events Assumes Management of the Contact Lenses of Americas Specialists Symposium Beginning in 2024
Hatboro, Pa — Mo.Events is excited to announce the assumption of management of the Contact Lenses of the Americas Specialists Symposium, or CLASS, beginning in 2024. Maureen Trusky, principal at Mo.Events, will take over organization and event planning from meeting founder, Contamac.
CLASS was founded on the pillars of high-quality education at accessible prices with simultaneous translation. The first CLASS event was held in Bogota, Colombia, and attracted more than 1,000 delegates. The meeting will continue to take place in Latin America in 2023, before launching of the inaugural CLASS USA event in the fall of 2024.
“I had the pleasure of attending CLASS 2022 in Cartegena, and I was immediately struck by the passion and excitement of the presenters, staff, and attendees,” Trusky, said. “I am thrilled at the opportunity to expand the reach and relationships of CLASS not only within the Latin American audience but also with North American practitioners.”
The CLASS education committee will be lead by John D. Gelles, O.D., F.A.A.O. Dr. Gelles is a world-renowned expert in specialty contact lens design, fitting, and management.

Mo.events will be partnering with Visionary medical Education (VME) to provide high quality, COPE-accredited continuing education to attendees of the meeting.
